Economics Students Win Top Prizes at GW Research Days
The top two prizes in Social Sciences at the GW Research Days held on April 2, 2013 were won by economics majors. First prize went to senior David Pomeroy for his senior thesis project, "Are Fare Cards Like ATM Cards? Indirect Network Effects in Transit Fare Payment: A Case Study of SmarTrip." Second prize went to senior Jeffrey Messina for "An Evaluation of Federal Reserve Greenbook Forecasts," presenting research he prepared building on his senior thesis for his Luther Rice fellowship. Both posters are now displayed on the third floor of Monroe Hall.
