Background
Professor Livingston's teaching and research interests center on the uses and influences of media in foreign and military policy processes. Other teaching interests include campaigns and elections and American political institutions. Among other publications, he is the author of The Terrorism Spectacle (1994) and Humanitarian Crises: Meeting the Challenges (1995).
