Background
Professor Winstead's areas of specialization include political theory, postmodern/poststructuralist political thought, Nietzsche, and politics and aesthetics. Professor Winstead's article "Nietzsche's Practice of Warfare: 'David Strauss the Confessor and the Writer'" appeared in New Nietzsche Studies in 2003. He has presented papers at Annual Meetings of the American Political Science Association, the International Association for Philosophy and Literature, and the Northeastern Political Science Association.
