B.A. with honors in Politics, Occidental College

I am a first year Ph.D. student from Santa Rosa, CA. I am studying international relations with a focus on relations between internal and external actors in the Middle East. I am particularly interested in religious issues in foreign policy and its applications for American foreign policy. Prior to graduate school I studied politics at Occidental College in Los Angeles, where my bachelor’s thesis examined the Israeli-Iranian conflict in the context of its implications for balance of power in the Middle East
