Modes of judicial selection. I am specifically interested in why some states choose to elect their judges while other state follow an advice and consent model.

-Rabbinical Ordination (Jerusalem, Israel)-B.A. Government and International Relations (Clark University)

I am a PhD student in political science at GW. Prior to joining GW I studied at The Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary, Yeshiva University's rabbinical college where I prepared for rabbinical ordination. Additionally, I completed my undergraduate degree at Clark University in Worcester Massachusetts. In my copious hours of free time (and I say that sarcastically) I spend my time perfecting a generations-old croissant recipe and practicing my latte art skills. When I'm not baking or being a grad student I can normally be found sitting on an Amtrak logging miles up and down the Northeast Corridor (if that strikes you as interesting feel free to drop a line to learn all about the wonderful things overheard on Amtrak).
