The department offers a variety of psychological services to both the university and the greater Washington area. Services are provided by various university organizations and community affiliates. Additional information can be found on subsequent pages, but services range from faculty and employee assistance programs to professional counseling for the general public conducted by doctoral students. Doctoral trainees are supervised by licensed, clinical psychologists. Both long and short term services are available, and fees where applicable can often be assessed based on family circumstances.
If you need immediate assistance, we urge you to contact the University Counseling Center at (202) - 994 5300, and ask to speak with the Counselor-on-Call.
