Background
Dr. Svetlana Pavlovskaya received her M.S. in Philology (Russian Language and Literature) from Tashkent State Pedagogical Institute (Uzbekistan) and Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Academy of Science of Uzbekistan. In the US she has been teaching Russian and Ukrainian for diplomats and international business leaders at the Diplomatic Language Services and at the World Bank. She has been at GW since 2004 and enjoys teaching the younger generation.
